Welcome!

The IMMUNO apiary was established in March 2022 on the grounds of the manor and park complex in Kulice, which houses the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (MOBI) of the University of Szczecin.

The apiary consists of six hives inhabited by bees of the Buckfast line (Apis mellifera buckfast-hybrid). The Buckfast line was artificially created by man by crossing a number of European and African breeds to obtain the most desirable traits for breeding.

The IMMUNO Apiary is cared for by the Center for Experimental Immunology and Immunobiology in Infectious Diseases and Cancer at the University of Szczecin.
